Jean Tinguely sent his patron, Maja Sacher, letters (incorporating drawings, prints, and collages) over a period of twenty years. These collages are reproduced and described in this book along with a personal biography and photographs of the artist with Paul and Maja Sacher who were heirs to Hoffamnn-La Roche Pharmaceuticals. Paul Sacher was also an important colector of music scores and a conductor as well.
